Her first best friend

When Noura was a little over a month old, a new little boy moved in next door in the NICU. For 2 months, his mom and I grew to be good friends, and I told Noura all about little Hudson, but of course they couldn't meet. Yesterday for the first time they met!! (Hudson arrived home a couple of weeks ago). It was SO nice to go to another sanitized home and see my little man (last time I saw him, he just turned 4 lb.) It was great to put them next to each other, and see how much they've both grown! They are both such miracles, and it's so great to see them nice and healthy sdie be side! On a side note, please pray for little Hudson. He is having some trouble feeding, and will have to go back to NG (tube) feedings for a while. This is very discouraging, and I would love you all to pray that he begins to eat well, and stop scaring his mom and dad by changing colors!

Yesterday Noura had her last ROP eye exam. Her eyes are fully developed and there are NO signs of ROP (retina detachment)!! We are SO thankful fot this! She has another eye exam in 6 mos., just to check her eyesight, since many preemies end up needing glasses.

Noura has slept ALL week in her crib!It has been great for both of us, we are both much more pleasant when we get a little sleep. Other than getting up every 3 hours to eat, she has been sleeping from about 9pm, until 7ish. Praise God!!!!! She is so much more alert during the day. She still is pretty fussy at night, but we have learned tricks that help a little. I hold her tight and rock her, and Andrew walks up and down the stairs. She doesnt like being put down, and we keep teasing that we may not be strong anywhere else, but we will have HUGE arm muscles soon!:)
